Jacko runs away from home because he can no longer stand his father whom he blames for the death of his mother.
At first, it's exciting to be on a road trip, and have alone time to think. Unfortunately, his excitement turns to fear when he is violently attacked by a psychotic at a diner outside of Reno.
The event shakes him up, emotionally, causing him to accidentally flip into another world, where he attracts the attention of a black-skinned demon; otherwise known as a hunter from the red lands - heavens red skied, dark counterpart.
